What the estimates are

All figures on costterrain are computed planning ranges based on public wage statistics, calibrated labor norms and national material prices, as described in our methodology. They are provided "as is" for general information.

What they are not

They are not contractor quotes, appraisals, or professional construction, financial or legal advice. Actual project costs depend on conditions we cannot see — roof pitch, decking condition, access, permits, local code, contractor availability and season. Always obtain at least three written bids from licensed local contractors before committing to any project.

Liability

We work hard to keep the data accurate and dated, but we make no warranty of completeness or fitness for a particular purpose, and accept no liability for decisions made on the basis of these estimates.
